Introducing Me

Hello my Nerdy Investigators.

If you are reading this, then chances are you have come from my YouTube channel of the same name. To you and anyone new, welcome.

I am sure some of you are wondering why, if I have a YouTube channel would I be starting a blog, and honestly, I am asking myself the same question. I love being on YouTube and creating videos for people to enjoy, but the platform is limiting. You cannot talk about books when you are a TV/movie channel. Well, you can, but it does not work well with the all mighty algorithm. Besides, as a faceless channel talking about books would not be as interesting when you cannot use clips to emphasise your point. There is also a part of me that wants to enhance my writing abilities, and a blog is a good way to do this.

All this is to say that this space will be the hub for me to explore different ideas, topics and content that YouTube cannot give. I have no actual plans or upload schedule at this point. I just know I want to start, so I am going to do just that.

So for this first one, let’s talk a little about me.

I am a lover of fantasy and romance stories in either movie, TV shows or books. I love sports but am currently not invested in one specifically. Since 2023, I have been going through a lot of changes as I learn more about myself and what really is important to me. And although it is hard, it has been the best journey I could have ever started. It led me to starting my channel, and this blog. I am learning what matters to me and what I want to build in this world and what I want to share. Also, I have two cats, Tiger and Lily. I am one cat away from being a crazy cat lady, and I love it.

I am a lover of learning new skills and ideas and seeing beneath the surface. I am passionate about writing, art journalling, drawing, 3D modelling, coding, game development and so much more. I may not be good at any of them really, but that is half the fun.

At the end of the day, I love creating regardless of what platform or medium I use, and we will explore all this and more in this blog.
